Post your PC specs, especially your GPU
I've followed everyone's recommendations with regard to un/reinstallation, verifying game files, updating windows and video card (mine is a 1080ti), and even removed my anti-virus for a short bit to see if that had a conflict.
This is one of the reasons I'm not a fan of these massive monthly patches. Not only does it break MOD's I like to use, but I'm guessing we can expect minor things like this for the long run.
Unfortunately it didn't work for me. Still crashing despite reinstalling the 2015 vccredist
1. Uninstall the game
2. Delete the files in the documents folder> my games> Sid Meier's Civilization VI
3. Install the game again.
This worked for me on the Steam version of the game. No clue why this fixed it, but thanks.
This did NOT work for me on the STEAM version, but that doesn't mean it wont work for others.
